So what is a Deep Tissue session like?

Will it hurt? Will I need to go home and go to bed right after? Will you be able to go deep enough? What are the benefits?

 

Ok here it is!! 

 

Deep tissue is wonderful! Does your whole session have to be deep work? NO We can customize your session to fit you. If you need deep work in problems areas, we can only work deep there if you want. 

 

You do not need to go right to bed. We would encourage you to drink plenty of water this day and the next day if possible. Your body will need it! 

 

Some areas of our muscles get tight and get to not feeling too good. With this slow yet deep work we can loosen up those thigh areas and work out some soreness. Some might experience soreness after or even the day after, but we strive to loosen yet try and keep you as relaxed as possible.

Bubble Bath Day

Here’s a perfect excuse to treat yourself to a relaxing bath. Better yet…take a nice long bubble bath then come right in for a relaxing massage. Warning though you might need a nap after!!

Are you prepared for this new year?

Prepare for the New Year

 

 

There are so many things you can do now to prepare you for your ultimate success. Start small. Here are just a few ideas:

  • Take a minute to pass out the last of the candy and cookies and then don’t look back.
  • Before things get busy, schedule some “me” time once a week for the next month. Make it a habit. What can you do? Take a walk, listen to music, book lunch with a friend, or schedule a massage. Anything that makes you feel joyful.
  • Drink a lot of water. A good rule of thumb is to drink half of your body weight in ounces of water every day. It’s hard to remember to do that sometimes, so invest in a water bottle and carry it with you everywhere. Look for our hydration recipes every week on fun ways to liven up your water intake.

 Here’s an opportunity to snuggle up to a special someone and enjoy the warmth and love. Of course you don’t have to cuddle up with someone. Cuddling up with a good book or a favorite movie counts too. Whatever you do just take a moment today to breathe and quiet your mind for a bit…trust me it’s worth it!!
